KIIS Austria – Study Abroad Summer 2015

Hopefully I’ll remember to add links to my posts about Austria in order as I finish writing them.

Stuck In Transition

This is a somewhat quick write up of our delay-drama from the first day of travel. Needless to say I was not amused.

It Feels Like Sunday,… aber es ist Samstag.

First day in Austria! Places we went, things we did, you know, typical first-day stuff. If I remember correctly I hadn’t really slept at this point, not normally.

Sonntag, 31 Mai. Unterricht und Freizeit in Bregenz

Settling into our new home abroad took a few days. Can you believe we had class on a Sunday?!
Sure didn’t feel like a Sunday.

Montag, 1 Juni. Unterricht in Bregenz

At this point, I told myself I’d update at least once a day, or once every other day.
That quickly failed because of school work and wanting to not be in front of a computer all day while abroad.

Einen tag zu spät!

And here’s where I first failed at writing every day.
Although, in my defense I needed to sleep.

Erste Wochenende in Dachau, München, und Salzburg.

This one is pretty self explanatory, however I’ll preface it with the fact that apparently I like to write, and write a lot. It was after this I decided to split my weekend trips up into smaller posts because this one was just massive. Both for me to write it all out, and for everyone to read.

Am Fritag, 12 Juni, Köln, Witten, und Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord.

TADA, SECOND WEEKEND POST. Well, Part One of Two at least.
This covers most of what transpired when I met up with my lovely friend Andrea, and she showed Maggie and I around Cologne, Duisburg, and Witten.

Am Samstag, 13 Juni, Witten, Duisburg, Bochum, und Essen.

This was the second half of my time with Andrea. We went places and did things, and it was great.
Trust me, you want to read about it.

Up the Pfänder Mountain!
